1. Prepare Well: Before
facing the telephone interviews, it is advisable for you to prepare well. Have
full confidence in yourself; get to know your strengths, weaknesses and your

Likewise, try to avoid fillers in your sentences like “well, um, uh,” and “and
uh.” Such kind of fillers tends to annoy the interviewer. Do remember, the way
you speak with the interviewer matters a lot. Because it proves how smart and
professional you are.
6. Keep your discussion relevant: To make the hiring manager easy to know you better in just
a few minutes, it is very important for you to keep your conversation
significant to the job target. Try to utilize each and every minute of the
precious time that can prove to be advantageous in order to bag the
offer.
7. Do not eat, drink or smoke: During the interview session it is advisable for you to avoid smoking, chewing gum or food, or drinking beverages. the interviewers to select the candidates with good conduct.
9. Summarize your credentials: Before you close the interview call, recapitulate all the
qualifications in support of your application and your interest in the job.
This will be easier for the interviewer to get a thorough description about you
and your eagerness in the job.
10. Trace the post-interview notes and comments: After the interview it is very important for you to record
each and every detail, so that the details can facilitate you in your next
telephone interview, for example what went well? What, if any, areas need
improvement? What did you learn? What are the next steps? Etc.
